If the adjustment bolts are rusted shut or there is play in the steering components, they must be repaired before the alignment will hold. We will always tell you about this before we continue. On salted roads, rust is a common reason for extra work.
Alignment indicates whether the wheels are pointing straight ahead or slightly inward or outward. Even a small error rubs the tire against the road with every mile, which shows up as wear on the edge of the tire.
We measure the alignment angles before adjustment and set them to the values provided by the car manufacturer.
The workshop is in Palokka, at Varastotie 4 D. It’s about 7 kilometers from Jyväskylä city center, 11 from Vaajakoski, and 17 from Tikkakoski. Without traffic, the drive from the center takes a good ten minutes.
